Legal

Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the relationship between ImmLaw and its clients in the provision of legal services, and the use of this website.

I. Provision of legal services

1. Formation of the relationship

The client relationship is formed upon signing a written engagement agreement or upon written confirmation of instructions. An enquiry through the website or by email does not in itself create a lawyer–client relationship.

2. Scope

The scope of each engagement is defined in the engagement agreement. Legal services are provided in accordance with the Bar Act, the Code of Ethics of Lawyers and applicable legislation.

3. Team

Each engagement is led personally by Ivailo Marinov. Other lawyers and staff may be involved in its performance and, with the client’s consent, external specialists.

4. Fees and expenses

Fees are agreed in advance and in writing — as a fixed amount, on an hourly basis or otherwise — in compliance with Ordinance No. 1 of 9 July 2004 on Remuneration for Legal Work. State fees, procedural costs and the costs of translation, legalisation and travel are borne by the client unless otherwise agreed.

5. Confidentiality and conflicts of interest

We keep confidential everything entrusted to it by the client, in accordance with professional secrecy under the Bar Act. A conflict-of-interest check is carried out before each engagement is accepted.

6. Anti-money laundering

Where required by the Measures Against Money Laundering Act, we carry out client due diligence and may request identification documents and evidence of the source of funds. Failure to provide them may result in the engagement being declined or terminated.

7. Personal data

Client personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.

II. Use of the website

8. Information only

The content of this website is for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Please do not act on it without obtaining individual advice.

9. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logo and design of this website are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without the written consent of ImmLaw.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are resolved by the competent Bulgarian court unless otherwise agreed.
